The Continental will be hosting its 15th beer festival this Thursday at South Meadow Lane. Two out of the four days of the festival will be free admission, with Friday and Saturday’s entry fee starting from just £3.
The event will provide a range of activities from live music in the outdoor marquee to BBQ food provided by The Ferret as well as a choice of vegetarian and vegan food to suit everybody. There will be a selection of over 200 cask beers as well as craft beers, specialist keg, perrys and ciders.
Alongside the variety of food and drink, there will be live music in the outdoor marquee is an ever-popular feature of the festival. This year, the marquee is reborn as the Heineken Music Stage, and sees sets from an array of performers.
The festival allows thousands of ale lovers from all over the North West to have a fun filled weekend of trying a huge range of ales in the two beer halls with live music acts from Blues Harvest, The Fast Camels, Not My Good Arm as well as many more.
