The trailer of “Bridget Jones’s Baby”, the sequel to box office smash hits “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and “Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason” was released today. The film, which follows the life of the eponymous Bridget Jones, focuses on her divorce, her climb up the career ladder, a new love interest, and a pregnancy!

The trailer promises big things from the franchise, with the introduction of Jack Qwant, her American love interest, who has a 50% chance of being the father of the baby. The other 50% belongs to heartthrob Mark Darcy, who has, since the last film, dumped Bridget.

Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth, Sally Phillips, and Jim Broadbent, amongst others, all resume their roles, with Patrick Dempsey taking the role of Jack Qwant, and star cameo roles from Ed Sheeran and Emma Thompson, who plays a sonographer.

The film is due for a September 23rd release.
