Preston North End will travel to the ABAX Stadium this Saturday as they face League One side Peterborough United in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

Aside from long-term absentees Jermaine Beckford, Stevie May and Chris Humphrey PNE manager Simon Grayson has a fully fit squad to choose from.

Callum Robinson, who joined North End on loan for a third time this week, could also be in contention for a place in the starting XI.

In terms of the hosts, Michael Bostwick could be available after receiving some good news following a scan this week.

Peterborough United manager Graham Westley will also be keeping an eye on left back Kgosi Ntlhe, who returned to training this week for the first time, after picking up a toe injury in August of last year.

The Lilywhites reached the fifth round of the competition last season before being knocked out by Manchester United at Deepdale.

Grayson is hoping his side can go on another successful cup run this term, but has admitted that they won’t underestimate Saturday’s tie against The Posh just because they are in the league below.

This weekend’s match is the first of three away games in the space of seven days for Preston and defender Paul Huntington says the players cannot wait for the game following a mid-week break this week.

United have made the ABAX something of a fortress this season, losing just four games out of 15 there and midfielder Harry Beautyman is excited about the cup challenge against North End.

However, he is adamant the confidence in The Posh side will not lead to complacency.

Promising teenager Martin Samuelsen has recently extended his loan at the ABAX from Premier League side West Ham United.

The 18-year-old believes anyone can beat anyone in the FA Cup as he prepares to make his debut in the competition.

The last time these two sides met in March 2015, Preston ran out 2-0 winners at Deepdale in League One.

PNE currently find themselves sitting in 15th position in the Championship, while Peterborough are in 6th place in League One.
