Michelle Donelan is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Chippenham, the home constituency of Pulse Radio Head of Programming Emili Peake.
Born in Cheshire, Donelan has been a Conservative since her childhood, speaking at the Conservative Party Conference when she was just 15 years old. She studied History and Politics at the University of York, and stood in Wentworth and Dearne in 2010, unsuccesfully.
Before winning the Chippenham seat she was selected for in 2013, Donelan was a Trustee of the charity ‘Help Victims of Domestic Violence’, based in Chippenham itself. She was also a member of the Steering Group of Wiltshire Carers.
Before entering Parliament, she had a career in marketing, and purchased her first home in Chippenham in 2013.
Donelan currently sits on the Education Select Committee.
