Ladbrokes Political Betting have put the odds of former MP for Glasgow Hillhead, Glasgow Kelvin, Bethnal Green and Bow, and Bradford West, George Galloway (pictured above behaving like a cat) winning the Greater Manchester Mayoral Race at 100/1.

The former Respect Leader, who is known for his flamboyant approach to politics, has not announced whether or not he would stand under a newly re-founded Respect banner; the party voluntarily deregistered as a party in August 2016.

Noel Gallagher, frontman of Oasis, is also on 100/1. The singer, who historically supports Labour, came out against Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn (LAB – Islington North), saying he is ‘a communist’ and that,

“The Tories don’t care about the vulnerable, and the communists don’t care about the aspirational.”
