Only good things can come from Sigala’s new single, with the success of ‘Sweet Lovin’’still being in the UK singles chart top 40 The new single ‘Say You Do’ has recently premiered on Radio One, being awarded the title of the week’s ‘future album’.

Sigala teamed up with Ministry of Sound artist DJ Fresh to create ‘Say You Do’. The vocals come from Imani, a 16 year old former Brit school singer. Writing her first song at the age of 10 she has already been compared to chart topping artists such as Rihanna.

The producer has previously worked with artists such as Craig David, Felix Jaehn, Fuse ODG and many more. He is due to begin a tour of the US and Canada in March, later returning to the UK for the summer festival season.

‘Say You Do’ is the ultimate definition of a summer song. From catchy beats to lyrics that will be stuck in your head all day, it is enough to get anyone in the mood to party. From the beginning this song reels you in with the tropical drumming, to slowly picking up the temper and breaking into an upbeat dance tune. ‘Say You Do’ has got me excited to see what the festival season has in store for the UK.

As a fan of Sigala’s music so far, I am eager to hear what he releases in the near future. The same can be said for the young artist who sang the lyrics to ‘Say You Do’ so well, surely this will be a breakthrough into the music industry for Imani, giving her the recognition she deserves.
