For the first time in 21 years, The Stone Roses have released a new single, All for One. After speculation online, an announcement was placed on their Facebook page this morning, and its first airplay was on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show this evening.

The track is reminiscent of their dreamy, rift-driven style, making it hard to believe this is not from their well-loved self-titled debut. The lyrics are repetitive and simple, likewise to classic tracks such as ‘She Bangs the Drum’, and fans will be singing along in no time.

This new release comes after several years of on-and-off touring. The band announced its reunion in 2011, which was followed by a world tour and festival appearances throughout 2012 and 2013. The Stone Roses then paused again, but is set to play several huge dates at Manchester Stadium this June, as well headlining T in the Park Festival in Scotland.

All for One is available to stream on Spotify (see below) and buy through iTunes.
