Summer Survival 2016: Saytr Play

With a line-up that includes four former UCLan students, Saytr Play has got a growing strong fanbase on campus. Known for their energetic shows already, the band is currently going from strength to strength.

Following on from their debut EP Day Saver, their latest single Don’t Go East was released at the end of March. This has received a range of positive attention already, including publicity by Emerging North, a website which aims to promote the best new talent in the north of England. Fans are eagerly hoping to hear more new material from them in the near future.

They recently played their biggest headline show at 53 Degrees, Preston, and are regular faces in The Ferret. Their other recent shows have included a support slot for the Hoosiers, as well as an appearance at Noel Gallagher’s Aftershow Party in Liverpool.

Their next live appearance will be as the support for Lisbon at Sound Control, Manchester.

Saytr Play will be on the Piazza Music Stage at 3pm on Saturday.
