The Courteeners have announced a December UK tour, which will include a date at Preston’s very own 53 Degrees.

The venue, located at the heart of the Students’ Union in the city, will play host to the opening show of the tour, which will see dates at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London & Hull University, and the tour will end at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester.

Frontman Liam Fray is no stranger to 53 Degrees and the Preston crowd, having played at the iconic venue on a solo acoustic tour to promote the bands latest album ‘Anna’, back on the 7th of February this year.

Tickets for the show, which go on general sale at 9am on Friday 6th September, will no doubt be hot property, as the boys from Middleton, Manchester are one of the most popular and well loved British bands around.

The Courteeners will play:

Monday 2nd December – Preston 53 Degrees
Tuesday 3rd December – London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
Friday 6th December – Lincoln Engine Shed
Saturday 7th December – Birmingham Academy
Monday 9th December – Hull University
Tuesday 10th December – Aberdeen Music Hall
Wednesday 11th December – Glasgow Barrowland
Friday 13th December – Manchester Phones 4U Arena

While you wait for December to roll around why not have a listen of Van Der Graaf from their latest album ‘Anna’
