The Perfect Songs For Your Monster Bash!

Caitlin Mclaren

It’s that time of year again when we can dress up as pretty much anything we want to and get away with it! But what are the perfect songs to accompany your Halloween party? As you’ve been given a mammoth task of hosting the pre-drinks to one of the biggest nights of the year then you will need all the help you can get!

Michael Jackson – Thriller

What would your Halloween party be without this ultimate classic? Let’s be honest, everyone listens to this song all year round but never forget this gem around October 31st as it’ll get your whole party dancing in unison. The video literally has every horror aspect you can ask for, from werewolves to zombies!

Monster Mash

Smash back to your childhood with this spooky reminder of how Halloween was done when you were a kid! Having an innocent vibe to it, Monster Mash never fails to get everyone smiling (even when Halloween has unfortunately landed on a Monday).

Jamie T – Zombie

One of my personal modern favourites, Jamie T sends a buzz throughout your party. Without the obvious lyrical connection, the music itself makes people unable to control their actions. It’s helpful to have a handful of new-ish music in your playlist!

The Specials – Ghost Town

This tune derives from political commentary but never forget the sinister vocals and creepy background music which has given it the well deserved right to be in our Halloween playlist. Not to forget, it’s hard to keep away from Halloween with ‘Ghost’ in the song title.

Ray Parker, Jr. – Ghostbusters

WHO YOU GONNA CALL? Well, hopefully your security won’t be knocking at your halls doors when they hear this absolute banger erupt. Hard to ignore, Ghostbusters is what we all love about Halloween – a good strong singalong.

I’d wish you luck on your party, but with these tunes who needs luck?
