The Student Voice Roundup: 22/5/16

Part of the democratic process at the Students’ Union is The Student Voice. Any student can propose a policy via this system. All it needs to do to go to the Students’ Council is have 50 people vote on it, with a majority voting in favour (upvoting). The policies currently up are:

Create the SU Charity of the Year

This idea, lasting for another 16 hours, aims to overhaul the way charities are chosen and charity donations are gathered across the Students’ Union. At the time of writing, it has 39 upvotes to 8 downvotes.

SSLCs Should Be About Student Feedback

This idea, lasting for another 15 hours, aims to give School Presidents the flexibility to choose the format in which their Staff-Student Liason Committees are held. At the time of writing, it has 33 upvotes to 2 downvotes.
