[TUTORIAL] How to Nominate Yourself in the SU Elections

elections-2017Elections are a nerve-wracking time, and sometimes it’s not easy to navigate the Students’ Union website. Pulse Politics have put together a picture tutorial to help guide you through the process!

 

1) Open a browser and go to www.uclansu.co.uk, then click the ‘Sign in’ button

2) Click on the big red box to sign into your accounttut2

3) Sign in using your UCLan accounttut3

4) Click on the dropdown arrow by your name and click on ‘Your Account/Profile’

5) Click on ‘My Nominations’ in the menu column on the left hand side

6) Find the role you’re thinking of going for and click ‘Submit’

7) Click on the little blue link for more information about what the role entails

8) Fill out the form with your name, a photo, and your manifesto

9) Once you’re happy, click submit, then go to Source for a pint!

Elections will be one of the most intense periods of your life, but you’ll make loads of friends and learn a lot about what you’re capable of. It’s all worth it though, so take the plunge and have fun!
