The numbers were published on the group’s Facebook page, with the school of  Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences coming out as worst affected – 10 lecturers being handed the pink slip, according to Undressed’s figures.

Here is the list in full (The 0.5 counts for part-time staff)

These figures have not yet been confirmed by the university.

UCLan Undressed will join University and College Union (UCU) members and students on Tuesday 3 December at the Fylde roundabout in a protest against the university’s decision to axe around 75 staff out of a possible 400 that went under review.

Deputy vice-chancellor Dave Phoenix says the university is making these cuts to adapt to the currently harsh economic climate and that the university is to act “as a business” to maintain success as an institution.
