UCLan has collaborated with Miller Holmes to offer their Interior Design students the chance to design a room in one of their latest show homes in Sandbach.
Students will work alongside Miller Homes’ interior designers to present their concepts to experts who will judge the students on their innovation and interpretation of the brief.
Concepts are presented to a panel of judges that includes interior designers, Miller Homes representatives and UCLan’s lecturer Pamela Eccles. The winner will work closely with the interior designers and observe their concept taking shape in the Miller Homes show home in Sandbach.
Eccles, Interior Design lecturer at UCLan said: “Working alongside a respected company such as Miller Homes is a unique opportunity for these students. Needless to say, they are grabbing the chance with both hands!”
This collaboration means that the students will have the chance to work alongside accredited designers, who will offer a wealth of invaluable knowledge and guidance to the students.
